Dielectric Narrow Notch Filter for Raman applications

476-10 NNF

Notch filters are designed to block a narrow range of wavelengths while allowing high transmittance in the passband. The deep blocking at the excitation laser line (OD > 6) delivers more signal with less background noise.

In Raman spectroscopy applications, a notch filter blocks the laser line allowing for easier observations of any Stokes and Anti-Stokes transitions.

Iridian notch filters are manufactured to achieve one of the narrowest blocking ranges available. Their sputtered hard dielectric coatings ensure superior performance, reliability and cost-effectiveness when compared to holographic notch filters.
