Multi-axis Lens Positioners
Siskiyou offer two ranges of optical translator. The OT series of lens positioner use 80 TPI Soft Touch colour-coded adjusters and can be ordered vacuum compatible. The robust OTX series is designed for OEM applications, delivering precision positioning via 100 TPI hex key adjusters.
Both series can be ordered in metric or imperial versions, and both accept Siskiyou's OH range of inserts for a variety of optic sizes. A microsope objective mount and a blank plate for machining are also available. Full details can be found in the Siskiyou catalogue below.
OT Series
The slimline design of Siskiyou's OT optical translators makes them ideal for crowded beam path applications. These optical translators use 80 TPI adjustment screws for precise positioning in XY, XYZ, or 5-axis gimbaled models. The Y-axis adjuster in all models uses a unique capture screw design to ensure no drift due to overloading in that axis. All models have Soft Touch colour-coded screwcaps for easy axis identification in low light conditions.

OTX Series
Siskiyou's OTX series optical translators are an OEM version of the above. These compact optical translators incorporate crossed roller bearings for zero crosstalk between X and Y axis adjustments, while precision rolled 100 TPI adjustors enable smooth submicron adjustment across the full X and Y travel range.
An internal 40 TPI screw thread is used on the Z-axis. This is driven via a capstan that maximises accessibility in any orientation. Six locking screws are provided to firmly hold the Z-axis in the position required.
Foil locks on all axes are proven to withstand 4G, maintaining position in challenging environments.

Siskiyou Corporation has been producing popular laboratory mechanicals for over 40 years; designing from the outset with quality and flexibility in mind.
Siskiyou do not aim at single disciplines, such as Photonics or Life Sciences, but craft their products to provide end users with the modular tools for constructing systems that are only limited by their imagination.
These concepts have ensured Siskiyou components outperform and outlast competitive products.
