Base-mounted motorised multi-axis micromanipulator for life science
MX7600 Series Micromanipulator
The MX7600 motorised crossed roller bearing micromanipulator is ideal for patch recording experiments. It offers exceptionally smooth linear travel and uses a precision preloaded lead screw to ensure drift-free operation.
The motorised 4-axis micromanipulator incorporates Siskiyou's MXC-45 pipette holder mounted to an adjustable clamp on the probe axis. This clamp allows the MXC-45 and probe axis to be adjusted to any angle between 0 and 180° for a true axial approach. The MXC-45’s built-in rotational stop also allows easy pipette replacement.
With Siskiyou's e or MC2010 closed loop controllers, the MX7600 can deliver 0.2 µm and 0.1 µm resolution respectively. Repeated or relative positioning can be achieved by using a DR1000 for each axis to supply a digital readout of the motor's encoder output.
All cables are shielded to ensure noise-free operation during sensitive electrophysiology experiments.
Product features
|
Siskiyou Corporation has been producing popular laboratory mechanicals for over 40 years; designing from the outset with quality and flexibility in mind.
Siskiyou do not aim at single disciplines, such as Photonics or Life Sciences, but craft their products to provide end users with the modular tools for constructing systems that are only limited by their imagination.
These concepts have ensured Siskiyou components outperform and outlast competitive products.
